If a recurring donation amount needs to be changed, for a Purpose other than a Sponsorship, you will need to cancel the current recurring donation and set it up as a new donation with the new amount.

Note: To change the amount of a recurring donation for a Sponsorship, please see the Updating Sponsorships article.

Here’s how to cancel the current recurring donation:

• From the Supporter’s record, click on the Donations tab
• Find the correct donation in the Recurring Donations box, click Actions and select Cancel
  • Note: Select Cancel Without Email Notification in the pop-out to keep the Supporter from being notified via email

You can now set up a new recurring donation for the supporter with the new amount, making sure to select the next recurring date that corresponds with the original set date.
