The Places Portal Template controls the layout and content of the page that displays all publicly listed places on your site.
Use this template to customize how places are presented to visitors, including page headers, maps, filters, and list layouts.

Access This Template
Go to Portal Content → Portal Templates → Places.
Tip: Make edits in Staging Site first so you can preview changes before publishing.
Places Header
Customize the top header of your public places page.
You can:
- Adjust margins
- Edit heading text
- Set heading size
- Change text color
- Update the header image
- Edit the page description
Map
Customize the map displayed beneath the header on the places page.
You can:
- Show or hide the map
- Adjust margins
- Set corner radius
- Add drop shadow
- Enforce an aspect ratio
Places List
Control how individual places are displayed in the list.
You can:
- Adjust margins
- Customize place title and description colors
- Choose which filters to display, including Goal and Map
- Set the progress bar color
- Select a horizontal or vertical layout
Preview and Publish
Preview changes on the staging site, then use Actions → Publish Staging to Live Site when you’re ready to apply updates to your live site.
